My Creations
These are my creations that i've made over the course of my sophomore time in intermediate clay. Every single one of these pieces has its own image and story behind it using the help of not only the form itself but the glazes and designs.
Slap/Coil Project:

This Sculpture was based off of the Japanese culture. In Japan, most if not all, their ceramics are based off of nature especially flowers. I decided to use that technique of adding flowers giving this visual image of them falling into an open sea.
Deconstructed Cup:

This Sculpture was based of the idea of a castle and the use of complementary colors really made this sculpture pop out not just focusing on one color bot both the orange and blue that outlines it.

This sculpture was based off a pyramid. The thing that makes it different is that it was created by one symbol which is the "S" you see all around creating the form. The colors I used for this were deserty and sandy to give of a vibe of a pyramid in Egypt.and how natural it is.

This project was behind the idea that everyone in society wears a mask hiding their true selves whether it is because they are scared or ashamed. This mask shows that even though someone may appear happy, they might be going through things behind closed doors.
Functional Cup:

This cup was my very first cup that I did on the potters wheel. It was not an easy task to do but with help and me using my days and extra help days to my full advantage, I managed to complete it. The glazes behind this cup is to give a galaxy vibe. The yellow in the center is to represent the sun and how the outer spots all around the cup are stars or planets rotation around it.
